Automated Smart Window

This is an academic project requiring us to utilise knowledge from two modules: Circuit and Electronics, as well as Structures and Materials. Our team came up with a window that can detect rain and automatically open and close when required. The interesting aspect of this project is that we were not allowed to utilise microcontrollers. Hence, the "smart" electronics component had to be designed from the ground up using basic logic gates.
