Wearable Functional Electrical Stimulation Device

As part of the Engineering Design Innovation module, my team decided to tackle the problem of elderly inactivity. To do so, we designed and fabricated a prototype device in the form of a leg sleeve capable of both tracking and triggering muscle activity. This device aims to bring Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES) from the clinical to the everyday setting. Through many iterations, we were able to create electrodes which are both comfortable and reusable.
